In a dance company where I was the only big girl, I pushed myself to be the best. My dedication, sassiness and fierce attitude won me positions front and center in some pieces. Now this wasn't the case always. At that company I had to fight to be a choreographer knowing I was talented but all they could see was my body. This went on for two seasons of rejection before I got a spot to choreograph. I had a good run with them for a little while, despite some setbacks. I didn't leave because of that struggle. I left because I was born for more. I look back to those days as stepping stones. Building @foxy5werqshop and my own personal brand has landed me some amazing opportunities, some I haven't shared yet and can't wait to spill the details! God is good and everything happens for a reason. #whaleinaseaoffish
